Founded by professional puppeteer and builder Connor Asher, Creventive Puppet Company combines a passion for storytelling with experience in fabrication, performance, and production. While our work serves clients in television, film, theatre, advertising, and commercial production, we also remain committed to sharing the art of puppetry with the community.

In addition to our production and fabrication services, we offer educational puppet-building and performance workshops for children, adults, theatres, organizations, and aspiring puppeteers. We also create and present original live puppet productions and entertainment for audiences of all ages.

CONNOR ASHER

Connor Asher is a professional puppeteer, puppet builder, producer, and teaching artist based in Hudson, North Carolina, creating work for film, television, commercials, live entertainment, and original productions nationwide.

With more than a decade of experience, Connor has built a career bringing memorable characters and stories to life through puppetry. His work spans puppet fabrication, performance, creative consulting, production support, and education, collaborating with clients ranging from independent artists to nationally recognized brands and productions.

Connor trained with artists from Legacy Effects and puppeteers from The Jim Henson Company, experiences that helped shape his approach to craftsmanship, performance, and storytelling. Throughout his career, he has contributed to projects for Leo Burnett, PBS, Jane Lynch, STORY, Ed Bassmaster, Magic Wheelchair, The Insurance King, InsureSmart Agency, and most recently served as the U.S. Puppet Wrangler for the national tour of Gabby's Dollhouse Live!.

As the founder of Creventive Puppet Company, Connor is passionate about using puppetry to spark imagination, create meaningful experiences, and help others bring ambitious ideas to life. Whether designing a custom puppet, performing on stage or screen, leading workshops, or consulting on a production, he approaches every project with creativity, curiosity, and a commitment to quality.

Connor is also an active member of the puppetry community, having previously served as President of the Chicagoland Puppetry Guild and as a board member for the Puppeteers of America Great Lakes Region.

When he's not building puppets or performing, you'll usually find him exploring new creative challenges, writing music, hiking, or dreaming up the next unforgettable character.
